Six Goals, Six Points, Sixth Place
26/02/2008
2-1 and 4-0 wins in a double header away at Titchfield Social enable FC Santos to leapfrog Social in the table by two points, and above Ocean City Barons to sixth place on goal difference.

The hosts scored first but then never again, with goals from Darren Ridge, Aaron Cordwell, Dan Attree, Tom Hewitt and Rich Barnes sealing all six points.

Santos Follow Saints
18/02/2008
Santos emulate Saints in slumping out of the cup having wasted a well-earned victory in the previous round.
Santos started well with Tom Hewitt hitting the underside of the bar, before a long range strike from Darren Ridge eventually earned the lead for the home side.

A scramble in the Santos box gave Cowplain an equaliser on the stroke of half time, with the visitors scoring a second immediately after the restart. Santos ran out of ideas in the second half, and whilst committing men forward in an effort to get back into the tie, Cowplain took advantage on the counter attack to secure themselves a comfortable win.

With nothing but pride left to play for this season, Santos will be looking to secure six points in a double header at Titchfield next weekend.
